Biography

4-H Youth Development Advisor

As an Area 4-H Youth Development Advisor for Butte, Colusa, and Glenn Counties, Nicole Marshall-Wheeler aims to provide mentorship and administrative support to the Counties and staff which she supervises, as well as supporting the state-wide 4-H program by contributing to research, curriculum development, and more. 

Previously

4-H Program Representative - Butte County (2016-2018)

Prior to being appointed a 4-H Youth Development Advisor, Nicole worked as a 4-H Program Representative serving Butte County.  

4-H Events Assistant - California State-wide Program (Summers 2014 & 2015)

During the summers of 2014 and 2015, Nicole worked as an Events Assistant for California 4-H supporting events such as State Field Day, Horse Classic, and 4-H portions of the California State Fair. 

After School Program Director and Leader - Chico Area Recreation and Park District (2010-2016)

As an after school program director, Nicole was responsible for the programming, safety, and supervision of an after school program in Chico, CA. The site was comprised of 200 diverse youth, with 10 staff. Nicole worked with, coached, and evaluated the staff to provide leadership to the after school program site. 

4-H Alumni (2003-2011):

From a young age Nicole was involved with her local 4-H program in Butte County. She participated in various projects and programs, but valued the public speaking and leadership events and opportunities the most. Nicole was a county All-Star and California 4-H State Ambassador.
