Agriculture

We assist farmers in producing food and fiber efficiently, economically, and safely. We extend information through newsletters, individual consultations, and indoor and field meetings. Publications on a wide range of subjects are available in our office. Our advisors conduct field research based on scientific methods of experimentation. Specialists and Faculty at the University of California campuses in Davis, Berkeley, and Riverside work with us to support our local on-the-farm research programs.
 

Natural Resources

We are active in the conservation of natural resources through fire safe councils, forestry, and hardwood range management programs. In addition, local community planners and governmental units can access University of California expertise through our local Cooperative Extension program.
