Enrollment Page

2024-2025 enrollment opens up on July 18, 2024

The Butte County 4-H Youth Development Program is primarily club based. For information about 4-H Clubs in Butte County please visit the 4-H Clubs page. Once you find a club that is a good fit, call or email our 4-H Secretary and she will connect you with the Club Leader.  If you want to be in more than one club, you must complete the Cross Club - Contract Form. 

Enrollment Fees:

Youth enrollment fee: $70.00. 

Adult volunteer enrollment fee: $30.00*

*Enrollment fees will be paid for adult volunteers who complete all the enrollment steps by December 1st by the Butte County 4-H Council.

 

Keep Youth Health History Information Up to Date

Youth Health History information is part of the member enrollment process. Please make sure this information is kept up to date if this information changes throughout the program year.

New 4-H Youth Member Enrollment Steps:

Step 1: Go to our website https://cebutte.ucanr.edu/4-H_Program/4-H_Clubs/. Pick a club and projects you wish to join.

Step 2: Call your 4-H Office (530) 552-5812 to request the contact information for your preferred 4-H Club. 

Step 3: Contact the Club Leader for the club you are interested in joining to let them know you are signing up for 4-H. They can give you more information about their club and the types of projects they offer.

Step 5: Enroll in 4-H in https://4h.zsuite.org/

Step 6: Submit program fees. There are two options.

  • Pay by Credit Card - Pay the $70.00 per youth via credit card with a our online survey. There is a credit card processing fee. 
  • Cash- Give $70.00 to your Club Leader, receive a receipt, and the club will send the payment into the UCCE/4-H Office.
  • Check- Write a $70.00 check made payable to UC Regents.  Mail or drop off at UCCE/4-H Office; 5 County Center Drive; Oroville, CA 95965

Once your county 4-H office receives the completed enrollment and enrollment fees, they can Activate you in the enrollment system. Please check your Household email for an enrollment confirmation.
 

Returning 4-H Youth Member Enrollment Steps:

  • Pay by Credit Card - Pay the $70.00 per youth via credit card with a our online survey. There is a credit card processing fee. 
  • Cash- Give $70.00 to your Club Leader, receive a receipt, and the club will send the payment into the UCCE/4-H Office.
  • Check- Write a $70.00 check made payable to UC Regents.  Mail or drop off at UCCE/4-H Office; 5 County Center Drive; Oroville, CA 95965

New 4-H Adult Volunteer Enrollment Steps:

Step 1:To start the first step for the enrollment process complete the Volunteer Interest Survey  After your survey has been received and viewed you will receive the next steps for your enrollment via email.

Step 2: Background check. Your next step will be emailed to you with the correct Live Scan form, Live Scan Locations, the link to the online enrollment system, and your online training courses to complete. All requirements must be completed by December 1, 2024 to have your enrollment fees paid and Live Scan reimbursed.

Step 3: Enroll in ZSuite - our online enrollment system. 

Step 4: Take the eXtension Campus courses

Step 5: Attend our New Volunteer Orientation. 

Step 6: Pay your enrollment fee - if enrolled after December 1, 2024. 

Returning 4-H Adult Volunteer Enrollment Steps:

If you had a break in your enrollment, you will need to follow the instructions under the New Volunteer section.  If you do not have access to the email you used to enroll in 4-H previously,  call 4-H Secretary at the office (530-552-5812) and she will change it for you.

Step 1: Complete enrollment in ZSuite: https://4h.zsuite.org/

Step 2:Complete the eXtension online trainings -2024-25 California Returning Volunteer Course

Step 3: Returning Volunteer's fees were paid by the Butte County 4-H Council if all requirements were complete by December 1st.  After that date there are two ways to pay your enrollment fees:

  • Pay by Credit Card - Pay the $30.00 via credit card with a our online survey. There is a credit card processing fee. 
  • Cash- Give $30.00 to your Club Leader, receive a receipt, and the club will send the payment into the UCCE/4-H Office.
  • Check- Write a $30.00 check made payable to UC Regents.  Mail or drop off at UCCE/4-H Office; 5 County Center Drive; Oroville, CA 95965

Important Reminders 

  • If you have ANY questions, please call the Butte County 4-H Secretary at our UCCE/4-H office, 530-552-5812.

  • Youth can enroll in 4-H at anytime of the year, but must be enrolled before the third Thursday of October each year to be eligible to show at the Butte County or Silver Dollar Fairs.
