Goats

Dairy, Meat, Nigerian Dwarf & Pygmy

The goat projects are part of the animal science project program. In this program, youth can learn about raising Dairy goats, Meat goats, Nigerian Dwarf Goats or Pygmy Goats.

This will include:

• Learning about breeds, showmanship, care and  management practices.
• Learning about processing, consumption, nutrition and use of dairy products.
• Learning the value of scientific research and its influence on animals and the meat industry.

Curriculum:
